Holiday park operator Leisure Escapes has purchased its third park supported by a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.

The family-run business, which was established in 1969, has acquired the Caerfelin Holiday Park, in Aberporth. The 11-acre park is home to 100 caravans.

Tomas Davies, director of Leisure Escapes, said: “The last year has been extremely turbulent for the hospitality and tourism industry so acquiring our third park, with the support of HSBC UK led by our relationship director, Simon Williams, underlines our commitment to providing high quality accommodation and facilities for our guests.

“As a family tourism business, the plan to purchase Caerfelin Holiday Park has been in the pipeline for a few months. We were grateful to be assisted by the Wales corporate team at HSBC UK and look forward to continuing our relationship, as well as playing our part in regenerating the Welsh economy in a post-Covid climate.”

Warren Lewis, head of corporate banking Wales for HSBC UK, added: “Not only will this deal continue Leisure Escapes’ growth in West Wales, it also supports the local economy of the area thanks to the influx of visitors holidaying once more.

“We’ve supported the team for a number of years and look forward to continuing our relationship during an exciting time for Leisure Escapes as the business grows to meet demand.”

Access Control Wales – Expert suppliers of advanced access control and security systems

A part of the Tensor group of security companies, Access Control Wales are a National Security Inspectorate (NSI) NACOSS Gold – accredited British manufacturer with over 30 years of experience in designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining security solutions.

We are dedicated to providing excellent security solutions and updating the access control systems for companies across the UK.

We understand that keeping a set of keys for 100 caravans safe can prove difficult, especially when at least one spare set is essential should the original set get lost.

By using our access control contactless smartcards, you will never have to use a set of keys again. Our smartcards are approximately the same size as a standard credit card and are thin and flexible enough to be carried in your wallet. This makes it easier for holiday goers to carry their keys around and will be less likely to lose them. If a card is lost, we sell badge ID printers and the lost card can be marked as lost within the software.

Our systems give you full control over who is allowed access through any controlled point at any time of any day, placing it at the forefront of security solutions. The systems support an extensive range of physical security devices designed to restrict people or vehicles, including Locks, Internal doors, External doors, Turnstiles (Full Height, Half height and Glass Turnstiles), Car-park and Traffic barriers.

In addition to this, our Access Control System can be easily connected to your site’s fire alarms for secure and reliable Fire Roll Call functionality.
