Colwyn Bay carparkNew parking restrictions in Colwyn Bay have caused a surge of commuting invaders on quiet streets because formerly free parking areas on roads including Queens Drive have been converted to 60 minute parking zones. Traffic Engineer, Paul Evans, said the move comes as a result of an “extensive review of parking in Colwyn Bay” which was requested by business, members of the public and councillor. He added: “Various measures were proposed for locations throughout the town, including Queens Drive. Consultation on these proposals took place in February 2009.”

Smart card systems from Access Control Wales will co-ordinate parking at your premises, keeping out those not permitting to enter while giving access to those authorised. The card readers are located out of sight so there is no need to remove your ID from a wallet or purse to use it. Access Control gives your business flexibility over barrier access as it can be controlled from your head office, reception or at point of vehicle entry. Any electronic locking mechanism, gate or barrier device is integrated into the network. Contact our sales team for more details.
