A Gwent Police spokeswoman confirmed the cable was stolen early on Wednesday, May 4, from the junction box in Morgan Way, Tredegar Park. "There have been a number of incidents involving criminal damage and attempted theft of cable in the Imperial Way and Duffryn Drive area," she added.

Using the access control software in Access Control Wales’s smart card operated systems you can create a wide range of daily access patterns for your site or office, which can run past midnight, enabling you to restrict certain areas of your site using time constraints. Door or barrier access can be limited depending on a person’s roll call status. An anti-pass back function means each smart card can only be used by a single employee. Alarms are triggered automatically if a forced entry is detected onsite.
