Gwent Police are appealing for help after copper thefts caused thousands of pounds worth of damage and cut phone services in Newport when 80 metres of cable was stolen in Tredegar Park. Using the access control software in Access Control Wales’s smart card operated systems you can create a wide range of daily access patterns for your site or office, which can run past midnight, enabling you to restrict certain areas of your site using time constraints. Door or barrier access can be limited depending on a person’s roll call status. An anti-pass back function means each smart card can only be used by a single employee. Alarms are triggered automatically if a forced entry is detected onsite.
