Office door access single user edition can record employee information for up to 250 people
Neath Port Talbot, Singleton and Morriston hospitals all had their computer services go down due to theft of underground cables. The incident in Swansea on February 2 meant the hospitals had to go onto their back-up systems after communication cables were stolen. Dougie Russell, the director for Musculo-Skeletal Services in Swansea, and the senior surgeon with the ABM Health Board, said the incident was “not just an inconvenience… it has the potential to reduce the quality of care we can give patients.”
Access Control Wales offer the Access Lite smart card system for improving security at premises and offices. This single user edition can operate a maximum of four clocking stations and record employee information for up to 250 people. Each Scanner Controller can support up to two access control points. Each access control point has various connections available including a door loop sensor – a link to a sensor that detects when the door opens – plus links to either a fire or burglar alarm and a timed switch.
