The children’s hospice at Ty Hafan has had an unusual act of generosity bestowed upon it. Staff at the store in Cardigan, Ceredigion, were distraught when a thief took an original Paddington Bear. However after receiving a Paddington drawing from one of his official artists, the store’s retail manager Alan Drury said: “You can imagine everyone’s excitement.” Ty Hafan is the only children’s hospice in south Wales, providing support to families as well as palliative care to children.
