North Wales Police confirmed there had been incidents reporting a spate of fire and vandalism taking place at a kids’ park. Police said a local Police Community Support Officer was investigating the criminal acts in Penycae. It has been alleged by the Community Council that police and the fire brigade have been called to the spot at least five times. Local school children had chosen the area to be converted into a bike track, which now remains empty.
