Four fire crews were needed to fight the fire at four industrial units including Gwent Auto Factors in New Inn, near Pontypool, late on Sunday, April 17. South Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called at 2330 BST after the units caught fire. Crews from New Inn, Cwmbran, Malpas, Caerphilly, Maindy and Usk tackled the blaze. Crews were also called to grass fires on Sunday night, with Aberdare, Pontypool and Pontypridd the ones needing most attention.
Fire roll call and alarms are features of Access Control Wales’s door entry security systems for businesses. The T351x Access Control Scanner Controller range achieves the same standard of security throughout, whether a single door up to a four door system controller. The T351x can support up multiple access control points. Each access control point includes an alarm connection, among others. This is a link to either a fire or burglar alarm. When the alarm is activated, all doors immediately open for a quick and safe evacuation of personnel.
