A part of the Tensor group of security companies, Access Control Wales are a National Security Inspectorate (NSI) NACOSS Gold – accredited British manufacturer with over 30 years of experience in designing, installing, commissioning and maintaining security solutions.

We are dedicated to providing excellent security solutions and updating the access control systems for companies across the UK.

We understand that keeping a set of keys for 100 caravans safe can prove difficult, especially when at least one spare set is essential should the original set get lost.

By using our access control contactless smartcards, you will never have to use a set of keys again. Our smartcards are approximately the same size as a standard credit card and are thin and flexible enough to be carried in your wallet. This makes it easier for holiday goers to carry their keys around and will be less likely to lose them. If a card is lost, we sell badge ID printers and the lost card can be marked as lost within the software.

Our systems give you full control over who is allowed access through any controlled point at any time of any day, placing it at the forefront of security solutions. The systems support an extensive range of physical security devices designed to restrict people or vehicles, including Locks, Internal doors, External doors, Turnstiles (Full Height, Half height and Glass Turnstiles), Car-park and Traffic barriers.

In addition to this, our Access Control System can be easily connected to your site’s fire alarms for secure and reliable Fire Roll Call functionality.

  3. Sustainable site conversion to create 100 dairy jobs

Comments Off on Sustainable site conversion to create 100 dairy jobs

A £20m cheese project is set to create 100 jobs in Anglesey with support from Welsh Government funding.

The £3m grant from the Business Innovation and Tourism Escalator Scheme (BITES) will see the Mona Island Dairy factory run solely on renewable electricity.

The funding will support production of Welsh and continental cheeses at the 25,000 sq ft facility, based on Mona Industrial Park, Holyhead.

Additional money in the form of loans and equity will contribute to the £20m site conversion, which is due for completion this September.

When finished, the factory will be the most modern anywhere on the continent, capable of producing 7,000 tons of cheese a year.

Managing director Ronald Akkerman said the move will see turnover rise to £25m by 2022 and set new standards for the industry, as they look to blend innovative and traditional methods to create Cheddar, Gouda, Edam and a range of artisan cheeses using milk from local farms, overseen by chairman David Wynne-Finch.

He added: “This is the largest new development in the food sector in North Wales this year and is attracting an enormous amount of interest across the dairy and cheese industry in the UK and Europe.”

The minister responsible for rural affairs and North Wales, and Trefnydd, Lesley Griffiths, said: “This is excellent news for Holyhead, Anglesey and the wider area.  It is good to see that milk from local farms will be used in the production of the cheese which will be a boost for the dairy industry, and it is great to see the measures taken to minimize the impact on the environment.”

Meanwhile, Dr Graham Jackson, from Wrexham Glyndwr University Business School, has joined the board of Mona Island Dairy as director with responsibility for strategic development and corporate governance.

Access Control Wales – Expert Suppliers of Advanced Physical Security Solutions for large numbers of staff

Companies that have large numbers of staff often struggle to find a successful way to monitor their employee’s whereabouts. A key card system, as a method of access control and a method of energy saving through key card-operated light switches, solves this problem instantly.

Many companies’ access control systems are not centrally controlled – they essentially act exactly like a traditional lock and key. Access Control Wales’ centralised access management enables you to collect data and get a big-picture view.

For example, you might want certain employees to only be able to get into certain areas at certain times. This could be for security reasons, or even health and safety. With a centralised system, this can be programmed into their employee profile which is linked to their card.

Here at Access Control Wales we provide you with an access control system which gives you full control over who is allowed access through any controlled point at any time of any day.

The system will adapt easily to your specific security environment, and the system’s modularity allows it to easily scale up as your operations grow.
